  1. Hello,
I have the first airplane bought by the state of Idaho back in the early 1930’s. It later ended up being used as a duster in California agriculture and was acquired by my father in ~1966. It is a 1929 Travel Air 4D with a Wright J67 radial engine. I have looked up the details in microfiche at the Idaho Statesman and the history is quite interesting. If you have any interest in this airplane/history please contact me and I will give you more details. 208 860 3294
